Robin Arndt
Coordinator of Field Education at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa
Robin G. Arndt, MSW, LSW, is Coordinator of Field Education at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Thompson School of Social Work & Public Health. He received his bachelor’s (‘04) and master’s (‘08) degrees from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Mr. Arndt serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Social Workers. He is also a Commissioner on the Commission on Education Policy with the Council on Social Work Education, a Site Visitor for the Board of Accreditation, and a member of the Fellowship Review Committee. He is past chair of the Hawaiʻi Interprofessional Education Committee at the University of Hawaiʻi and Director of Interprofessional Education for the Hawaii Interprofessional Program for Parity—Behavioral Health.
His interest areas include technology in practice and education; lifelong learning and professional development/competency; values, ethics, and reflective practice; leadership; and interprofessional education. His research focuses on conflict resolution, interprofessional education, and social work labor force development.
