About Yuka
Yuka serves as a Workforce Liaison on the Hawai‘i Public Health Workforce Catalyst Lab. She brings her passion and expertise in social and health equity to the group. Yuka is also a faculty member of the UH Office of Public Health Studies and longtime educator of students at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. She is a mission-driven team member who believes that addressing gaps in Hawai‘i’s public health workforce through an equity-centered approach is key to improving health disparities across the islands. Outside of work, Yuka enjoys reading, watching sports (especially women's competitions and the Olympics), and being active with her family.
