Taken on 4.17.2021 This playground located in Launani Valley utilized the same equipment since I was a child. (For context I’m now in my 30s) Due to lack of proper maintenance & outdated materials, it had to be demolished in 2022. Any moves to replace it by the association have been non-existent. I hope this video shows the value playgrounds in local communities hold in regards to public health. These built environments play an essential role in providing a safe space for children to play & families to gather. Promoting health & wellness via physical activity. [By Ashley G]
