About Veronica

Veronica is a Junior Specialist for the Office of Public Health at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa. She brings experience working in various community health organizations as well as the Hawai‘i State Department of Health’s Chronic Disease and Health Promotion Branch. Her educational background includes Health and Environmental Sciences obtained in Ontario, Canada. She holds a masters in Global Health, obtained from the University of Barcelona and the Barcelona Institute for Global Health Research (ISGlobal), where she evaluated air pollution exposure on global childhood immunity. Her research interests include One Health, Environmental Health, Global Health Equity and Epidemiology. Veronica works with the new Hawai‘i Public Health Workforce Catalyst Lab as a Workforce Coordinator. Out of the office, you can find Veronica doing yoga, snorkeling or reading.
