Michelle Tagorda

Academic Advisor

Michelle Tagorda-Kama serves as an academic advisor at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, where she is also an alumna. As a first-generation college student, she obtained her undergraduate degrees in biology and psychology, as well as her Master of Public Health, specializing in social and behavioral health sciences. Michelle has a background in both student affairs and academic affairs and is dedicated to supporting students throughout their academic journey. Her goal is to assist and empower students in making meaning in their higher education experiences and beyond. Michelle was born and raised in Kea'au on the Big Island and now resides in Waipi'o, O'ahu.
